http://www.tutfolio.com/adayoutside/
Going to work on the image map tomorrow. First template i've coded, and need some help if anyone would be so kind. 1. Ran it through the validation: <a href="http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tutfolio.com%2Fadayoutside%2Findex.html" target="_blank">http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tutfolio.com%2Fadayoutside%2Findex.html</a> And you'll notice the first three things that pop are: unable to determine parse mode, no doctype found, and no document type declartion. Anyone want to give me a quick rundown on that? Otherwise, I'll research it tomorrow.. Second thing is: the repeating grass background. As an experienced coder, how would you have done it? I went ahead and used the full grass texture and set it to repeat. I know there is a easier [and less bandwidth consuming] way, any suggestions? Third thing is: for the top right of the template, i'm using one sliced image: (IMG:http://www.tutfolio.com/adayoutside/images/index_02.jpg) For some reason, my text defaults to the bottom of the image regardless of what sort of padding/or div align I set to it. Any idea why the text won't go to the top right of the image? Thanks to whoever helps, Andrew This post has been edited by BFTP: Dec 26 2009, 08:59 PM |

Im not picky when it comes to coding, so everything looks great to me. I like the way you coded the nav too; this could be a perfect blog template. gj
